Difference NEN-EN 1335 and NPR 1813 standards
Due to the height differences between people in Europe, a standard has been created for office chairs: the NEN-EN 1335 standard (Dutch Ergonomics Standard-European Standard). In the Netherlands, the length differences between people are even more extreme and that is why the NPR 1813 guideline has been added for the Netherlands (Dutch Practice Guideline). This is a standard for the dimensions of office chairs. Both standards are occupational health and safety compliant, but the NPR 1813 guideline requires slightly wider adjustment options for the seat and armrests so that both short and tall people can use the same office chair.
